John Stadelman started Stadelman Landscaping, LLC in 2006.
John has been designing and installing quality landscapes since 1999. Prior to starting the business, he worked for three landscaping companies, each with its own niche. The first company John learned from, near his hometown of Shawano, Wisconsin, specialized in shoreline restoration. After moving to the Twin Cities for college, John began working for a company specializing in
retaining walls and paver patios. The third company that he gained
experience from specialized in natural landscapes, water features, and unique plant materials.
In addition to many years working in the field, John graduated from the
University of Minnesota in 2002 with a horticulture degree, emphasizing in
landscape design.
In 2006, John earned status as a Certified Professional by the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA). Stadelman Landscaping is a member and proud supporter of the work that the MNLA does to promote quality and advancement in the green industry.
The industry is always changing, in order to keep up with those changes John is always researching new products and methods. He and some of the key employees frequently attend seminars on topics related to the industry.
In 2008, John became a Level One Certified Paver Installer by the
Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI). In 2009 Billy Mead, Assistant Foreman, completed the same training and now holds the same distinction as a Level One Certified Paver Installer. The Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) is considered by peer associations around the world as the leader in development and dissemenation of technical information for design professionals and contractors.
We’ve installed residential projects ranging in size from a few hours to several weeks. We provide a wide range of landscaping services. Projects we’ve completed include patios, retaining walls, boulder outcroppings, dry streams, a Mississippi River shoreline restoration, and many other landscaping features.
